A New Website For a New Experience
As the rest of their world was clinking their glasses together and ringing in the New Year, we were hard at work putting the final touches on our brand new website. While many things might look the same, this has been the culmination of a year’s hard work, bringing massive changes to the way that it operates under the hood. We’re looking forward to bring to you a much more streamlined experience, better responsiveness to customer issues, and tightening up a lot of our operational automation. Some of these differences may not be immediately apparent, but we’re looking forward to fewer website errors, more reliable order placement, and better tools to be able to publish content.
A look at what we’ve done...
Better Error Reporting
On our previous website, one of the major issues we had when trying to help clients walk their way through the checkout process was that we had no visibility into their issues. No errors were being recorded, which made some issues very difficult to diagnose. Our new error handling toolkit has already been able to help us diagnose some very complex issues, so we’ve already been seeing the benefits of this change.
Better Content Publishing Tools
Being able to quickly and reliably publish content will allow us to communicate far more effectively with our customers. We’re also set up to content better suited towards Search Engine Optimization which helps us with our search rankings. As we build our new seasonal lines and do product releases, these features will allow us to communicate the awesome design work that’s been coming out of our design shop.
This new website will let us create and implement new promotions, such as Free Delivery Days, Coupon Codes, new sales for our products, and will even allow us to do charitable drives. We appreciate our customers and our communities, and this gives us a whole new toolkit to show it.
We are always doing something. Whether it’s a workshop, a flower flash or a charity event, we’re going to let you know about it and keep you in the loop, and we want you to come out and see us.
We’ve made the shop easier to navigate, giving you better tools to find exactly what you’re looking for. Get the perfect bouquet or gift for you or your loved ones at the touch of your fingertips.
We’ve added a whole lot of tools to help us improve and monitor site performance and to identify and triage bottlenecks. This should have a cumulative effect as we continue to make improvements, and deliver a snappy, comfortable, confident user experience.
We’ve really leaned improving our shipping experience to give more accurate pricing and delivery date estimates. We’ve improved our communication and messaging to include better shipping notices, include tracking numbers, and give customer a better sense of when their bouquet starts its journey and when it gets to where it’s going.
Big things are coming...
This whole upgrade puts us into a position to implement some things we’ve been wanting to put into place for a long time now.
Complete Site Redesign
We’ve already got a completely new look and feel baking in the oven right now and we’re extremely excited about it. The design on this site has served us well for a long time, but our brand has evolved quite a ways since we’ve created this and we’re working on something that better reflects who we are. We’ll be updating our whole UI/UX experience beyond what we’ve done in this update, and hope we can bring the cleanest floral shopping experience on the market.

Super Secret Squirrel Stuff
We don’t want to tip our whole hand here, but we have big plans for new features. We’re so excited about it that we’re almost vibrating. We’re thinking big, and we want to give you the best possible experience, the best tools available to make the decisions you need to make, and above all, the most beautiful flowers on the market.
