As the weather warms up, we at Bespoke Blossoms are getting ready for wedding season and we couldn't be more excited to see all the love stories come to fruition.

It has us reminiscing about last wedding season- the variety of trends, themes, venues, and big days that we were so grateful to be a part of. Almost a year ago today, the engaged couple Nadia and James graced our studio with their floral dreams and we brought them to life. We're thrilled to share this beautiful, bright day with you.

Nadia & James came to us with dreams of a tropical, west coast vibe inspired by Victoria’s local cocktail bar- Citrus & Cane. On the Citrus & Cane website they describe themselves as a “fashionable, tropical cocktail bar, among retro-style surroundings.” We think that's pretty spot-on, and we knew it was right up Bespoke’s alley! The color pallet included shades of white, sand, rust, and raspberry with greens, of course. Our to-do list for this day was rather large, it included: bouquets, boutonniere, aisle markers, sign & welcome arrangement, ceremony arch, bar & lounge arrangement, overhead hanging cages, table pieces, and lastly carnation garlands. To bring the tropical vibes to life we included bright colored carnation garlands, plenty of palms, citrus slices, and even mini pineapples in this captivating floral design plan.

This particular love story took place at the Inn at Laurel Point overlooking Victoria’s beautiful inner harbor, the cherry blossom trees added such a romantic soft feel to the venue location.  While the designers were able to build and execute a lot of the products at the studio beforehand, the ceremony arch and hanging installations were built on site at the venue. The most tedious job to be done were the garlands which would be hung and used in the overhead installation and hanging lanterns, but it was so worth it. We also constructed, built, and painted our cute sunburst pal for the bar! Our floral and greenery list included: all types of palms (dry and fresh), pampas anthurium, cymbidium, ranunculus, kangaroo paw, Amaranthus, genestra, banksia, roses, carnations, lisianthus, and disbuds. Included in this wedding were also plenty of citrus fruit slices, and mini pineapples.

As always, our team at Bespoke Blossoms is so grateful and humbled to be trusted with florals on days like these. We are so pleased to have worked alongside The Good Party and Kim Jay Weddings, once again.

Check out the photos from this tropical west coast wedding, we are so ecstatic with the outcome of this day.
