Elegant White Floral Wedding
A beautiful indoor wedding at the Empress!

Weddings are such an exciting moment for both the couple getting married, as well as their families. It is such a blending of the two families, cultures, and traditions. This wedding which took place at the beautiful Empress Hotel here in Victoria was a mix between a Kurdish and Western Wedding Ceremony. The couple requested all whites and greens for their big day and we were happy to make their elegant white floral wedding dreams come true!
Bridal Bouquet
The bride wanted all white peonies for her bouquet which we were excited to make happen for her. She requested that the peonies were as closed as possible, which was slightly more difficult on a very hot day but with some quick adjustments and some glue on hand we were able to glue some of the petals to ensure she had the perfect all white closed peony bouquet of her dreams. For her bridesmaids we added a bit of greenery around the edges so the brides bouquet was able to stand out from them.
Reception
For the reception we were able to repurpose the ceremony flowers to make a large impact. This is one of our favourite things to do for our couples, combining both the ceremony and reception flowers gives a big floral statement while saving them a little bit of money. Their colour palette made for a clean and elegant vibe as it contrasted quite nicely with the dark wood rooms at the Empress. We absolutely love how the arrangements stand out in front of the dark wood and it gives the arrangements just that much more oomph!
It is hard for a wedding at the Empress to not look absolutely gorgeous, and this wedding was no exception! We love how it turned out and we hope the couple and their families loved it just as much as we did!
